Game sick, Movie epic, Books not the best but still if random shit is your fancy get em. If nothing else you can learn how O'maley thought it was okay to play up Vega's.
Wait. Did you say the game and movie are better than the books? They're based on the books, the books are the original. If you don't like the books then you don't like the series.
But yeah, the craze is kind of dying, and the movie didn't do so great in the box office even though Harsh saw it three times. I haven't seen it yet, because I don't know anyone who already liked the series (besides one guy but he's a jerk). The game looks good, I'll get around to playing it one of these days.

I said it with the mindset that most people find the books terrible. Far be it for me to tell you to go spend money on the books when most people would rather watch the movie and play the game. I personally liked the series and yeah the hype is dying if not dead I just wanted to talk about it with people I didn't think were assholes and jerks. The game is pretty awesome really too bad about the online multi-player though.
I got the first volume as required text for my English class (It deals with graphic novels), and so far it's been pretty meh. Not sure if it's because I already watched the movie and expect most of the plot elements.
I believe this inconcievable defeat calls for immediate retreat from the server establishment as a result of heightened mental anguish.
I love Scott Pilgrim. Read the books when I saw the first trailer for the film, then went to see the movie - regrettably only once - and then got the game. I'm on my third playthrough now, leveling up Ramona after doing the same with Scott and Kim. Amazing stuff all around.
Favorite character is Wallace. Would have given my kidneys to have him playable.
