Changing GBA Background Color?

Postby United_Snakes » Mon Feb 06, 2017 9:58 pm

So I'm trying to rip sprites from VisualBoyAdvance, but I've come upon a problem.

So here I have the crab sprite that I want to rip. Ok, I get the screenshot and I upload it to Paint. But when I try to change the black background however...

The crab gets a black outline that looks ugly and takes a LONG time to remove. Is there anyway to change the background color in VBA to something else instead of black, so that the sprites don't get the black outline?
Currently "ripping" through Kong: The 8th Wonder of the World, for GBA... I'll see myself out.

I don't know of any such feature in any GBA emulator.

The bigger problem here is that you're ripping at non-native resolution. In the menus go to Options > Video > 1x

Do that and the sprites shouldn't be blurry which is where that bad black outline probably comes from.
