Right, sorry about the hiatus last week, but here we are again with a new update.

This update also brings with it the long-awaited game icon feature - each game on the site now has a preview icon just like those that sprites have. You can view these on the system page and, like sprite icons, you may turn them off if you wish. Big thanks to everyone who helped make this possible, including canasniimehugh, G.o.D., and Dazz from TSR.

Don't forget the news from last week: our forums are now permanently located at spritedatabase.net/forums and our news posts now allow you to post comments! Let us know what you think of the new features!

Hi everybody. Unfortunately due to a technical issue there won't be an update this week. The forums, which were previously unavailable, have now moved to spritedatabase.net/forums. No data was lost, so all you have to do is update your bookmarks. I've also now added the ability to comment on news posts. Just click on the headline of any front page post, or the link that says "0 Comments" and get to posting! We will probably be adding comments to more pages in the future, barring unforeseen technical issues.

Sorry I couldn't do an update today but things were just a little too messed up for me to deal with it. Next week for sure. Thanks for understanding; see you next week.

Yep, it's still freezing 'round here, and unfortunately these new sprites aren't doing much to warm me up. Don't get me wrong, they're great sprites, they just lack any sort of radiant heat. Sincere thanks to everybody who sent something in this week - I sure appreciate it. We'll be back next week with more, so see ya then.
