And we're back. It's an update!

So I've been somewhat busy. I migrated the forums from a very old phpBB to a very current myBB. Almost everything transferred over, except a few avatars and a few rare instances of scrambled BBCode. If you had an account you can log right back in and find everything where you left it.

I'm also working on a new upgrade for the icons on the site. Currently, icons for sprites and backgrounds can be up to 120x100 pixels, although many are still using the older 100x50 format.My newest project is adding support for what I'm calling "mega" icons, up to 240x200. These will be used for high-resolution, non-pixel images.

In mega-icon view, any old icons 120x100 pixels or below will simply be shown at double size. On the mobile site, 240x200 would be much too large, so they'll scale back down to the standard XL size.

You can test the new viewing mode right now. Keep in mind it's still in development. Check it out right here, or change the word "game" in any game page url to "gamebig". If you browse around the site you'll see I've already upgraded the icons for many games on systems like PSP, 3DS, Gamecube, and PS3, and will continue to do so. I'm going to continue tweaking this for a while - I want it to be an option in addition to the current icon size. Let me know what you think!

I bring you an update. I've been playing that Streets of Rage 4. It's good! Even if I am not very good *at it*. Golden Axe was always my preferred Sega beat-em-up back in the day, although in hindsight Streets of Rage is clearly better designed. But I'm getting the hang of not getting my ass beat, and trying to get decent scores. The amount of effort that went into this game is amazing. It looks and feels so great. Play it. It's on everything, including game pass for PC and Xbox. Thanks for reading Grim's review corner, see you again next week.
