Here are a few cool programs useful for sprite ripping. Some day I'll add more.

ScreenGet - Click here to download
ScreenGet is AnimGet for the 22nd century! This SDB-exclusive is made by none other than yours truly, Grim!
Like AnimGet, ScreenGet takes screenshots ridiculously fast. However, you can also customize the frame speed and save images as PNG rather than BMP. Give it a try!

An awesome program for plain old ripping. Written by Michael Menne.

Tile Molester Alternate - Click here to download
Another version, supports GBA palettes and is extendable. Not quite as stable as the original though.

|
GGD - Click here to download
Weird tile viewer that can do just about anything if you figure it out.
You should really read Ragey's page, he knows all about it. And I really don't.

Alferd Spritesheet Unpacker - Click here to download
This amazing program by Mitchell William Cooper (ForkandBeard.co.uk) will take those terribly inconvenient sprite sheets we have so many thousands of, and allow you to split each sprite into its own image file. See it in action at YouTube. Incredibly useful for game developers and animators. Check it out!
